Punctuality

We would like to remind parents and students to arrive at least 10 minutes earlier before class. The record of lateness is evident during the past few months and has caused inconvenience for other students . Any lateness of or more than 15 minutes will be recorded as absence. Your punctuality and co-operation is very much appreciated.

Dance Conditioning: Why do exercises & stretching?

There are always young students who complain about the dance conditioning and parents who request us to reduce the exercises because of the ‘pain’. Actually with dance conditioning, muscular strength and endurance, as well as flexibility can improve performance, aid in injury prevention, and enhance aesthetic beauty. Students not only benefit from dance conditioning in terms of techniques, but also learn about alignments and how to use their bodies in dancing.

The dance class consists of at least 10 minutes of dance conditioning, the students will slowly adapt to them and gradually be stronger . The ‘pain’, or we shall call ‘ soreness’, is actually guiding them to feel and utilize the muscles correctly.
